Bonaire, and its small sister island Klien Bonaire, is one of three islands in the Caribbean making up the Dutch Antilles or ABC islands (Aruba, Curacao & Bonaire) and is one of the least tourist-developed and visited of the islands, yet both on land and under the sea, one of the Caribbean's most striking. It is located just North of Venezuela, South of the hurricane belt offering a year round stable climate.
Apart from being an amazing windsurf location Bonaire also offer world class diving and so makes for an ideal windsurf / dive combination holiday.

THE WINDSURFING
Jibe City is a very relaxed and laid-back windsurf centre on Bonaire with ideal windsurfing conditions. Shallow water and a constant onshore wind are great for all levels, especially beginners and improvers.
THE WIND
The wind in Bonaire is very reliable with consistent trade winds that blow all year. The wind peaks between May to July and is at its lowest in October and November. The rest of the year offers good, consistent conditions. |

KON TIKI
After a ten minute-drive from Kralendijk and the airport, you will come to KonTiki. A quiet, intimate place where you can enjoy good food, inside with a cosy atmosphere or outside on the deck.
There are three types of accommodation here; the KonTiki Studios, Mangrove View Apartments and the Lac Bay Apartments. The KonTiki Studios are located in the KonTiki building.

You may choose from one, two, or three bedroom units and our Penthouses complete with jacuzzi tub which is quite spectacular - in our view the best room on the island! BelMar is a 10 minute drive to Lac Bay.
