Golf De Roses is suitable for all levels of windsurfer although certain times of year are better for some than others. During the spring and autumn when the strong tramontana wind blows, there can be fair-sized waves building up here, enabling wave freaks to get a good run for their money. Once the waves have gone, the spot offers a medium-height wind swell from the left and freeride opportunities are unlimited.

During the mid summer months the thermal wind is very reliable and builds up towards midday. In the morning hours, the spot is ideal for youngsters; with suitable kids' gear (boards and rigs), there is nothing to prevent them from being out on their boards. But generally during this season it is perfect for beginners to intermediates. When the thermal wind is blowing, the motto is freestyling and freeriding. Directly in front of the Club Mistral centre is the fine, sandy beach, which drops off gently and is about 80m wide. The shallow-water area in the water extends for 30m, perfect for moving on from beach start to water start or practising the power gybe.

Golf De Roses is a perfect destination for families with children of all ages as well as those travelling with non-windsurfing partners or friends. There is a massive amount to do here as well as it being a perfect windsurfing spot, such as mountain biking, snorkelling, sailing, horse riding and walking. There are also a good range of child care facilities on offer close to the windsurf centre.

Directly in front of the Club Mistral centre is the fine, sandy beach, which drops off gently and is about 80 m wide. The shallow-water area in the water extends for 30 m, perfect for moving on from beach start to water start or practising the power gybe. The location of the Club Mistral centre and the wind directions make this an absolutely safe multi-spot, where you will never drift out to sea. Nevertheless, the rescue boat is also there in case of emergencies.

The windsurfer and kitesurfer zone is indicated by signs and buoys and is located directly in front of our centre. We thus have a huge stretch of beach to ourselves here, because bathers are mainly to the left of this zone, on the 2-kilometre beach of the La Ballena Alegre camping site.

Windsurf Bungalows
The high-class bungalow and camping ground La Ballena Alegre 2 is situated along the main windsurfing and kitesurfing beach with the Club Mistral centre on site.

La Palmera
A variety of villas and apartments (villas have a communal swimming pool) in a charming small medieval village with views over the main spot about 1 mile down the beach.

The old farmhouse
A charming country estate set in a quiet location approximately 3 km away from the beach and centre.

The old watermill
A few meters from the sea there is an old restored windmill that has been recently converted into a charming inn. This quiet place surrounded by applefields and big trees is very peaceful and you find time to relax here.

This beautiful refurnished house has five spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments which can cater for a maximum of 6 pax. All the apartments have a chimney, private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.

El Nido Apartment
This appartment is located in a quiet area in Sant Marti d’ Empuries. (Close to La Palmera) 150m to the beach and 400m to the Club Mistral & Skyriders Golf de Roses. In the evenings you can walk Village Sant Marti d’ Empuries to have a drink and dinner.

St Marti D'Empuries Villas
The Villas are located about 20 minute stroll to the Club Mistral Centre windsurf / Kitesurf centre and juts next to the charming St Marti d `Empuries with is cozy restaurant and beach.

There are 12 Villas with good access by car and each each Villa has its own garage. The Villas are fully furnished for a maximum of six people: 3 bathrooms, living room, bathroom, huge terrace and a kitchen (stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffee-machine, washing machine) and satellite TV and, if required in spring and autumn, a heater.

Vilacolum House
A small luxury, rural boutique hotel with only 14 rooms in the charming village of Vilacolum, just 15 minutes drive from the Windsurf & Kitesurf centre.
