Beginners Windsurfing Holiday in Greece
Vassiliki is a traditional fishing village, located at the Southern-most tip of the beautiful island of Lefkas. It overlooks Kephallonia (of Captain Corelli fame) and is part of the Ionian group of islands in the North West of Greece. Due to the extraordinary local wind phenomenon, Vassiliki has become a world famous windsurfing destination. But it has managed to retain its unspoilt charm with chilled tavernas, cafes and bars lining the picturesque harbour.
The Club Vassiliki Beginners Windsurfing tuition program takes place from Saturday to Wednesday. Beginners are generally out on the water in the mornings to take advantage of the gentler wind and flatter sea. On- water time is prioritised and theory sessions are scheduled in as necessary. Improvers also benefit from some afternoon on-water coaching as an introduction to beach-starts, the harness and higher wind techniques. All Tuition is included in the price of your holiday.

We've always been at the forefront and have been influential in developing the RYA's FastForward teaching methods (which we incorporate into our program). Our Windsurfing team is the highest qualified in the world, boasting more RYA level 5 instructors than any other centre. These highly motivated professionals have a relaxed, friendly approach that cannot fail to motivate you. Vassiliki's extraordinary local wind phenomenon is renowned throughout the windsurfing world. The wind shifts in direction and strength halfway through the day keeping all levels more than happy. And the warm, clear water means you won't want to get out.
Our fully inclusive courses are highly flexible and are tailored to your specific needs and the prevailing conditions in each centre. Beginners lessons generally take place in the morning so you have a gentle start with the light on-shore breeze and calm, flat sea which makes learning easy.

Andromeda is home to self catering studios offering twin, double or triple accommodation and Self caterign apartments with a double bedroom + twin bed in the lounge. Andromeda is based in the valley of olive groves, 5-10 mins from Club:

Sunwaves
Sunwaves is room only accomodation with twin, double & triple rooms available. It is an alternative beachfront option, 2 mins walk from the Club:

* All with balconies or terraces (direct/side sea views)
* Beach-side pool with sea views
* Café and bar
* Fridges, kettles and air-con in all rooms
All properties have pools for guest use and each room / apt has an en suite shower / wc with air-conditioning.
