Windsurfing is one of the most exciting, vibrant and challenging sports around today. It is fast, dynamic, fun, exhilarating and above all it's COOL! Windsurfing is also one of the most cost effective ways of having fun on the water and with the introduction of modern equipment and innovative training techniques it is now easier to learn and pick up than ever.
The Level 1 Windsurfing Course is a two day course for people who are serious about learning to windsurf or if you have tried it a while back and want to start from the beginning again. It is a really fun course and your progress will surprise you.

Experience Content:
Through out the two day course you will learn the basics of windsurfing with the course covering the introduction to the board and rig, simulator work on land, balancing and rig handling techniques, upwind & downwind windsurfing, safety & self rescue techniques and there will be plenty of on water practising under the watchful eye of your instructor.
By the end of the course you will be able to sail around an area and be ready to move your skills on even further. Logbook and handbooks are included in the cost of the course and upon completion a certificate.

Duration:
The course lasts for two days, 4 hours each day.
What to Wear / Equipment:
All specialised equipment is provided. Take a swim suit & towel and sun block if it is hot and warm clothes to change into if its not.

There will be a maximum of six windsurfers per instructor. Spectators are welcome at most centres, please check when booking.
Weather:
Windsurfing courses can be weather dependant and in extreme circumstances the course may be affected. Please check with the centre on the day of the activity or the day before.

This course is available throughout the year.
Restrictions:
Min age: 6 .All under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All participants must be confident in the water and able to swim.
