Windsurfing in Sardinia
Porto Pollo is an unbelievable place to windsurf and ideal for all levels. Super consistent wind conditions, some of the best in Europe with an incredible variety of spots bringing people from all over the world here to sail.
Beginners are totally looked after with instruction on the protected, glassy flat, side of the bay. The safe aspect of the long moon shaped bays in Porto Pollo, add to the quality of this place for people getting started in this awesome sport.
For the more experienced, with your own kit, as much sailing as you can handle can be done in the huge bays of Porto Pollo. Also trips are made to other spots, wind dependant, for the best conditions. For those who are at the level to get amongst the waves, there are many beaches and reefs to let rip on.

Fully Catered Villa: Our Mediterranean style villa is situated in a typical, quaint, Sardinian village port, called Palau. With the town hugging the port, it has a sleepy friendly atmosphere doted with a few bars, gelaterias, pizzarias, open air markets every evening and the sprawling sea out to the islands. The locals are very welcoming and it is easy to spend all your evening promenading, eating gelati, having a couple of beers and watching it all pass by. The villa is situated at the top of a hill, over looking the village, beaches and bays and has amazing views out to the islands of La Maddalana. Where many an evening has been spent watching the sunsets and boats sail pass from the balcony. The villa can sleep 7-8 with two dbl/twins up stairs w/ balconies, a triple down stairs and a single/dbl sofa in the lounge if needed. All rooms have TV., semi ensuit, the lounge is packed with good music, good atmosphere and plenty of DVD’s , if there is ever time for that. Outside there is a huge terrace, garden and BBQ, storage and rinsing for kit, and a few hammocks when it all gets to much and the end of the day beer is calling. It is a hop and a skip to the local beach and Porto Pollo is just round the corner in the Freshtraxxx minibus. It is fully catered, so continental and/or cooked, breakfast is served every morning, Tapis/arfternoon tea after the days activities and a home cooked meal served with all wine to wind down too. The nights are warm, so dinner is often spent on the terrace, leading into big card nights and sipping away on mirto, a lovely local liqueur.
