Depending on how fast you learn, some people get up the board on the first day of lessons, some require two to three lessons. Our radio helmets ensure you to learn at the most efficient rate, as your instructor is constantly teaching you whether you are right next to him, body fragging or riding on the board. We find most students cut their lesson times by 50% with the use of radio helmets.

In the lesson, you will learn everything you need to regarding the sport. We follow the IKO training program to ensure everything you need to learn for kitesurfing is learnt to the highest standards. We start you off with a small kite to develop piloting skills, and once you can fly the small kite, we take you out on the big kite. once you have acquired all the basic skills, we will get you up on the board.

Surf Connect Kitesurfing School is the only Accredited School affiliated to both Yachting Australia & IKO in Brisbane. We offer lessons of all levels from beginners to advance level, and you can accumulate all you spent on lessons towards the purchase of equipment if wished too*! At the end of each lesson/course, IKO certification cards are issued according to the students level of achievement. The cards are recognized worldwide and give you discounts in insurance, retailers, it also allow you to hire gear at rental centers around the world.
