Fantastic ski chalet
Chalet Alaska is a Bronze rated 30 bed chalet that simply offers very comfortable ski accommodation with the added benefit of being located right in the centre of the bustling resort of Alpe D'huez. A good variety of bars and nightlife with a variety of restaurants are located all around the slopes and the lifts are within 70-80 metres, which helps to create a very buzzing atmosphere where guests can feel right in the thick of the action!
The lounge area in the Alaska has been totally revamped over summer 2005. It has lovely wooden walls and a fresh, cosy chalet feel to it. All furnishings are very recent but slightly different to the above photos.
The Alaska has many private ensuite bathroom facilities so guests can enjoy the social element of joining a chalet group for dinner or skiing and boarding during the daytime, yet still get the benefit of private facilities for relaxation.
