Inkasi Lodge



This fantastic self catering safari lodge is situated next to a lake in the stunning African bush. Inkasi Game Reserve forms part of the larger Timbavati Reserve.

Although it is self-catering property the staff will cook meals for you provided that you bring your own food, should you prefer.

There are two lodges, each lodge has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a large lounge with a double bed settee. Each also has a gallery area where extra beds can be made, a twin single bedroom, a family bathroom, and a kitchen. Each lodge sleeping up to 6 people comfortably.

There are four permanent staff including George, a qualified guide, who has worked at the lodge since it opened in 1989. George will be happy to take guests on a walking safari and an open-top game vehicle can be provided for a small extra cost.

Location Description
Inkasi is a game reserve within the larger Timbavati reserve near Hoedspruit and within the Greater Kruger Park area. It comprises 1,000 hectres of bushveld.

Animals on the reserve include giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, nyala, impala, dyker, warthog, baboon and monkey, as well as rhino, buffalo and sable antelope, wild dog, cheetah and leopard are also visitors.

The resort is about 12kms past Hoedspruit International airport. Simply drive down the road until the tarmac runs out then turn left and follow the signs to Inkasi.

Inkasi also boasts a Boma and a conference centre (with table tennis and table football). The lodges overlook a lake, the favourite drinking spot for game.
