Surf Berbere have four brand new, basic apartments right on the waterfront at Hash Point. For each level there is one double bedroom, one bunk room and a basic kitchen/living room and bathroom. The flats sleep maximum 6 people. They all have satellite TV and the wifi reaches all but the bottom flat. The flats are so close to the water that when the swells are big you can hear the rocks rumbling on Hash Point just yards away. Most of the meals happen on the roof terrace and the main living area is in the top flat where there is the flat screen tv and all the dvds. Every morning you will wake up to 180 degree views of an azur blue ocean peppered with hundreds of tiny fishing boats. The Surf Berbere surf camp is famous around Morocco for its amazing roof terrace the little fishermen boats sailing out right past the front door. If you do want to have the infinity pool and luxury apartment then please ask, these apartments are down the road. However, most of the clients stay at the Surf Berbere Hash Point apartments that make up the surf camp. Who needs a swimming pool when you have the ocean within spitting distance of your front door! That being said the Surf Berbere team now have over forty of the best apartments in Taghazout and the local surfing area that enjoy sea views and are perfect for all types of stay. The accomodation range in Morocco is vast, we have your typical little fisherman apartments in the centre of Taghazout, but we also have the luxury houses on Anchor Point. FOOD You will be served breakfast and dinner at the surfcamp’s roof terrace. Lunch will be either barbeque or sandwiches will be served at the surf spot chosen for that day on the stretch of coast between Agadir and Essouira. Often we take trips up to Immesouane and the guys will get your breakie at Tamri, then lunch will be barbecued fish from the local market. Perfect for a full days surfing. The Moroccan cooks have all worked in the Agadir Hotels as well as the local cafes of Taghazout. If you like authentic Moroccan cuisine then it just doesn’t get any better than what these guys prepare! If you are worried that you won’t like Moroccan food then fear not as Youssef is a master of the omelette and pizza too. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements and we will do our utmost to accommodate your requirements. SURF EQUIPMENT AND LESSONS All your surfing needs are catered for. The surf equipment is mostly included in the price, including board hire, wetsuit hire and surf instruction lessons. At all times there will be two locally trained surf instructors in the water with you. These guys have been surfing these waves their whole lives. Essentially you can’t beat local knowledge when it comes to hunting down the perfect waves in parts of Morocco that no guide book will ever find. SURFING SAFARI Their 4×4’s driven by the experienced Moroccan instructors can take you to deserted waves, beautiful long rides, that no other tourist will ever hope to find. There are some areas that only a seriously heavy off roader can get to, which means that only a select few people even know about these spots. This is where the local knowledge comes in handy. We can all read the stormrider guide, and quite often we can even spot the waves that we want to ride. Their local instructors have been surfing, even competing on these waves their whole lives they know all the “secret” spots that the guide books will never be able to write about, and more importantly they know the spots that will be going off!
