Itinerary

THE WIND
The best time to visit South Africa is in their summer period from October through to March with the very best wind being from November through to February. The conditions are very reliable with wind speeds normally between 20 - 30 knots, the strongest wind coming between 2 and 6 in the afternoons.

THE WINDSURFING - BAY SPORTS
Planet partner with Bay Sport in Cape Town, the official Neil Pryde and JP importer for the region. They have a wide selection of the latest equipment for rental or purchase. Rental equipment will normally be 2006 gear. The rental package includes 1 board, 2 sails & mask and boom. All equipment can be changed on a daily basis depending on wind conditions and requirements.

Accommodation Details

TABLE VIEW LUXURY APARTMENTS
The spacious suites are all fully furnished, offering marble en-suite bathrooms, satellite television, direct dial phone lines, coffee percolators, internet access and fully stocked mini bars.

BIG BAY APARTMENTS
This charming family run accommodation is Situated 200m from the beach and 400m from a variety of amenities; the perfect base for a kite/windsurfing holiday. The big lights of Cape Town are just a 20 minute drive south along the coast road.
John and Jenny have 4 ensuite rooms around a sun drenched pool, bar and pool room offering a light continental breakfast, a must for the hard days sailing. There is a very nice pool, comfortable lounge area and large communal breakfast / kitchen area.
