The best windsurfing is in Kefalos where the village has built up many small hotels and simple apartments. Kos itself is very popular with the British, many heading to Kos Town in the north and fewer to Kefalos. Itinerary / Highlights

Lynn & Jens have run the centre in Kos for 8 years and you can be sure of a warm welcome here. The centre is stocked with the latest Naish/JP boards and Neil Pryde kit to suit all levels. They offer a flexible board system where you can book 4 days out of 7 or 9 days out of 14 if you do not want to sail every day. For families you can book one board to share if only one person is sailing at a time. The Young Saver, which is for under 30's, offers a reduced rate on pre 2003 kit. Also a full weekly programme of courses is available from Beginner to Advanced.

SACALLIS INN
300 metres from the centre the Sacallis Inn is situated directly on the beach. Bed and breakfast is included and there is a beach bar and excellent restaurant on site. All rooms have private facilities and some rooms have air-conditioning at an extra cost payable locally.

MAYFLOWER PEROS COMPLEX
The attractive Mayflower Peros Complex enjoys a peaceful location in the centre of Kefalos, ten minutes walk from the windsurf centre. This property offers comfortable accommodation to a good standard, with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. There is a swimming pool onsite with a snack bar/bar.
The studios have twin beds, shower, wc, kitchenette and balcony with an inland view.

FOTIS & POLLITIS STUDIOS
These simple studio apartments are the closest to the windsurf centre - they are above it! Located on the beach, each studio has a small kitchenette, shower, wc and balcony or terrace.

ZAFIRA I &II STUDIOS
Situated off the main road, near all local amenities and only 150 metres walk from Kefalos beach. A gentle 20 minute stroll will take you to the resort centre whilst guests can use 2 swimming pools, approximately 5 minutes walk from Zafira. Studios sleep 2/3 persons. (Most studios have a balcony).

HOTEL KORDISTOS
This pleasant and friendly hotel is situated directly on the beach 500 metres from the windsurf centre. Kordistos offers bed and continental breakfast in clean and comfortable rooms. All rooms have private facilities and balcony or terrace (some with seaview). There is an attractive swimming pool and beach bar onsite.
