Windsurfing in Safaga, Egypt. The strong and steady thermal winds mean that we’ve got a safe environment to learn as well as a great spot for advanced riders most of the year.

Our materiel is JP boards and Nielpryde sails. From the center to the beach its 10 meter and you can easily change your materiel when you want depending on the wind. Of course you have an assistance of Mohamed to help carry and change the materiel to the sizes good for you and the conditions.

The water is flat water but as the wind blows we get a nice chop that invites you to jump.

We deliver complete windsurfing packages including flights, accommodation, windsurfing, transfers and more. Our windsurf school in Safaga, Egypt is very social, the centre is very small gathering together all kitesurfers, divers and surfers around to get together in the evening.

Because of high mountains close to the cost in Safaga bay a constant Thermal wind blows most of the year. Perfect spot for Slalom conditions especially in spring and autumn it offers optimal conditions for the “surf freaks”, nice waves produced by the wind in open sea from 1-1,5 meter high, invites you to jump. The excursion to the famous Tobya island is an unforgettable experience, a fine white sand island about 3 km from the center is easily reached by windsurf when the wind blows cross off shore. And we also offer full day trips by boat.

What makes Safaga Bay really special is that it's still not overcrowded and remains untouched from the crazy development, together, of course, with the familiar and friendly atmosphere that you will find in the TORNADO Surfcenter.
